Terms & conditions
Last updated: 1 January 2026
These terms set out the basis on which Eco Plumbing & Heating Solutions Ltd ("we", "us", "our") provides plumbing and heating services to you. By instructing us to carry out work, you accept these terms alongside anything specifically agreed in your written quote.
Who we are
Eco Plumbing & Heating Solutions Ltd — a family-run plumbing and heating company based in Rochdale and covering Greater Manchester. Gas Safe Register number 636807. Contact: 07582 870312 · info@ecoplumbingandheatingsolutions.co.uk.
Quotes and pricing
- All quotes are provided in writing, itemised, and valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise on the quote.
- Verbal estimates given over the phone or on site before a survey are indicative only and do not form a contract until confirmed in writing.
- Where work uncovers issues that could not reasonably have been anticipated at survey (for example hidden pipework, structural defects, sludge damage), we will pause, explain the position, and provide a written variation before proceeding.
Deposits and payment
- For larger installs (typically boiler replacements, bathrooms, heat pumps and underfloor heating) we take a materials deposit on booking. The exact amount is stated on the quote.
- The balance is due on completion, unless a different schedule is agreed in writing.
- We accept bank transfer, card payment and, where offered, third-party finance. Finance is subject to eligibility and separate provider terms.
- Late-payment interest may be applied in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where the customer is a business.
Workmanship guarantee
Every install we complete is covered by a 12-month workmanship guarantee from the completion date. This is in addition to the manufacturer warranty on the equipment we fit.
The workmanship guarantee covers defects in the work we carried out. It does not cover: damage caused by misuse, tampering, third-party work, lack of annual servicing where required, or fair wear and tear.
Manufacturer warranties
Manufacturer warranties on boilers, cylinders, heat pumps and controls run for the period stated by the manufacturer (up to 18 years on selected ATAG boilers fitted by us as ATAG approved installers). Most warranties are conditional on annual servicing being kept up to date.
Access, site conditions and timing
- You are responsible for providing safe, reasonable access to the property and to the areas we need to work in.
- Time estimates for completion are given in good faith. Where a delay is caused by circumstances outside our control (parts availability, access issues, unforeseen site conditions) we will keep you informed and rebook promptly.
- You will move or protect valuables, breakable items and personal effects in the working area before we arrive. We take reasonable care with your property but cannot accept responsibility for items left in the working area.
Cancellations and consumer rights
If the contract for work was agreed off-premises (for example at your home or over the phone), you have a 14-day statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Where you ask us to start work within that 14-day window, you may be liable for the reasonable value of work done up to the point of cancellation.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Liability
We hold £5m public liability insurance covering our work. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot be limited under UK law. Subject to that, our liability for any loss or damage arising out of the work is limited to the value of the work carried out.
Complaints
If something isn't right, contact us in the first instance at info@ecoplumbingandheatingsolutions.co.uk or by phone on 07582 870312. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and resolve them within 30 days.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version applies to work agreed after the date shown at the top of this page.
